Shout out to West Sacramento Girl Scout Troop 808 for adding to the City's public art inventory!
The scouts covered three traffic control utility boxes across from the Community Center on West Capitol Ave with paintings depicting well know West Sacramento landmarks.
Councilmember Dawnté Early helped cut the ribbon at the installation ceremony on Thursday, December 6, 2022.
The City's Park and Recreation staff along with the Arts, Culture & Historic Preservation Commission approved the project and helped coordinate it's completion. High school artist Ellory Scull assisted the scouts with design and vision.
Pro-Wraps donated time and their product to attached the art to the utility boxes.
Thanks to all for supporting public art in West Sacramento!
